The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2022:

In 2022, on the occasion of her Platinum Jubilee year, Her Majesty The Queen will celebrate 70 years as Head of the Commonwealth. The Queen’s seven decades of service to the Commonwealth is an inspiring example of the steadfast commitment and important contribution we can all make to our societies. The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2022 will ask entrants to explore the positive impact that can be achieved through dedication and selfless commitment to our Commonwealth.

Aims and benefits:
The top two winners from each category will be awarded with a trip to London for a week of educational and cultural events, culminating in a special Awards Ceremony at a royal palace.
All successful entries will receive a Certificate of Participation and a number of entrants will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Requirements:
Senior category (Born between 1 July 2003 and 30 June 2008 (14-18 years of age), maximum word count: 1500 words
Junior category (Born on or after 1 July 2008 (under 14 years of age), maximum word count: 750 words
